Biography
Cole is a lawyer who graduated from the Baylor University School of Law in 2014 and has extensive and varied experience in civil litigation to include construction disputes, contested probate matters, and commercial contract litigation. He has tried a variety of cases to a jury, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, corporate vial piercing, and real estate matters such as Trespass to Try Title and easement disputes.
He has additionally prosecuted and defended appeals at both Texas intermediate appellate court and the Supreme Court of Texas.
Cole is a member of the Texas State Bar Real Estate Forms Manual Committee.
He took an unusual path to the law in that Cole’s first career was as an infantryman in the U.S. Army from 2000 – 2010. After being honorably discharged in 2010, Cole attended Clarendon College where he learned how to weld (SMAW, GMAW, and TIG) and then West Texas A&M where he received his Bachelor’s degree.
He is also a licensed amateur radio operator (KI5YID), enjoys programming in Python and MatLab, and shoots 3-Gun matches, time permitting. Cole now resides near Amarillo, Texas where the traffic is light and the skies are clear.
